The weekend series is called the MTCX Super Prestige, it a USA Cycling Series with 6 races. We are selling season's passes for the MTCX Super Prestige for $150. All categories battling for the overall in there field. 20. 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 (no dropped races

Missoula Wednesday Night Series

The Missoula Cyclocross Series is 7 weeks and a clinic.  It also has a corresponding youth program called "Rangers." SEASON SCHEDULE:

September 25 - Six Mile - Pretzel Cross
October 2 – Ranch Club - Sausage Cross
October 9 – Ranch Club - Arnold Palmer Cross
October 16 – Big Sky Brewery - Soup Cross
October 23 – Big Sky Brewery - Caserole Cross
October 30 – Mavs Stadium - Candy Cross - Finale

Registration Check/In:

• Friday at MTCX 9am-6pm
  • Day of Check in will start Saturday at 8:00AM - 6:00PM 
  • Checkin at least 60 minutes before each race
• Online Registration will be open all day on race day, but day of price is $50

• 9:15am -  9 and under race boys and girls
• 9:45am  - 13-14 boys, 13-14 girls, 10-12 boys, 10-12 girls
• 10:45am - 17-18 girls, 15-16 girls

• 1:15pm - Masters Women - 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• 2:30pm - Masters Men - 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• 4:00pm - MTB Race
• 5:45pm - Women Cat 1/2/3/4
• 7:00pm - Men Cat 1/2/3/4

Sunday

• 8:00 Check-in and reg open
• 8:00am - 9:00am - Course Open
• 9:15am  - 13-14 boys, 13-14 girls, 10-12 boys, 10-12 girls
• 10:00am - 17-18 girls, 15-16 girls,17-18 boys, 15-16 boys
• 12:00pm - Masters Women - 40-49, 50-59, 60+,Women Cat 1/2/3/4
• 1:30pm -Masters Men - 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Men Cat 1/2/3/4,MTB Race

Night Race 

It will get dark and the Men Cat 1/2/3/4 will be at night, bring lights.

Points and Sanctioning

Rolling Thunder and the MTCX Super Prestige is a USA Cycling Event.  Points go to your call up at the National Championship.

Podiums

Top three in each race category will be on podium. Podiums will be recognized immediately after each race.  Prizes and medals provided by Zillastate.

Call Ups

Register by Wed before Thunder to ensure you are considered for a callup. At least 8 in each category will get a call up for the front line. We may call past 8 if time allows from rider rankings/criteria below. Once we are done calling, then everyone else can line up first come, first serve.

Parking

Big Sky Brewery is mostly on street parking, please don't park in local businesses.

Team Tents

Team tents will be available, please reserve yours in the store here.

Course Pre-riding. 

While a race is occurring, please no pre-riding the course. There are  dedicated slots on the schedule for pre-riding. After each race, there should be 10 minutes where you can do some pre-riding.

Please also hit up Keyvin Pollington's City Center Motel Keyvin is a strong supporter of Missoula Cycling.  City Center Motel is located downtown Missoula.

$35 per race per day all events.
Second race of the day is $15
One Day USA Cycling License is $10
$50 per race for day of registration.

FAQ

Q: I'm not a USA Cycling Member. Can I race and what category?

• Yes, you will race on a one day license.  Consider the morning age group races first.

Q: Can I race more than one race in the day? 

• Yes! Race as many times as you want Saturday and Sunday.

Q: Do I need a CX bike?

• No. Gravel bikes and mountain bikes work great! Just make sure if you have a MTB you take off any bar end extenders.
